Starting a Home Based Business |
By Dan Cavalli
Most entrepreneurial people have a desire to start their own business. This is the fastest way to financial freedom and providing the income basis to invest in other h areas.
Having your own business also allows the owner to move out of the day to day grind of an employee. However, when starting a business it needs to be planned for well. This is an area that has a high risk of failure.
I have outlined a few important areas to consider.
1) Business or employee:
Why do you want to start your own business?
Do you want to work longer hours?
Do you want to be your own boss? Why?
How much do you want to improve your financial position? Why?
2) Preparation:
Are you ready to work long and hard?
Are you multi skilled?
Are you willing to take risks and have sleepless nights?
Are you prepared to give up much of your social life?
Does your family support you starting a business?
3) Skills required:
Do you have experience in and passion for the business you have chosen?
Are you able to make good decisions quickly?
Do you have enough knowledge to start a business?
4) Funding the initial investments
Do you have enough money or finance to fund and operate a business?
Do you have access to more money if you need it?
Are you prepared to take financial risks?
These points must be considered and planned for before you start business.
